TallyPrime 5.0 launched with enhanced GST features

Bengaluru, Sep 16 (UNI) Tally Solutions has unveiled TallyPrime 5.0, the latest iteration of its business management software, representing a significant advancement in its suite of Connected Services.
This new release is designed to support the rapidly growing MSME sector in India and beyond, with a particular emphasis on simplifying GST operations.
TallyPrime 5.0 introduces ‘Connected GST,’ a comprehensive interface that streamlines all GST-related tasks, removing the need to visit the GST portal. This update enhances the software’s connected experience, featuring integrated e-invoicing, e-way bill generation, and WhatsApp connectivity.
Additionally, the new version expands its multilingual capabilities to include Arabic and Bangla, responding to the growing demand in the Middle East and Bangladesh.
Among its notable features, TallyPrime 5.0 provides direct connectivity to the GST portal, enabling swift data transfers and GSTR-1 return filings. Unique to Tally, the software now includes GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B reconciliation tools, Input Tax Credit (ITC) risk identification, and ledger creation functionalities. This end-to-end solution covers everything from bookkeeping to return filing, promising to streamline the GST filing process for MSMEs.
Tally Solutions aims to increase its user base by 50 percent over the next three years, targeting a CAGR of 30-40%. Tejas Goenka, Managing Director of Tally Solutions, emphasised, “Our latest release is designed to simplify GST filing, helping businesses save 60%-70% of their time and providing real-time GST status for better ITC management.”
The new TallyPrime 5.0 is available free to all active TSS subscribers, offering a reliable and user-friendly tool for effective business management.
