Telangana conducts over 11,000 tests, highest in single-day, 736 test positive in Hyderabad alone

Hyderabad, Jul 11 (UNI) The Telangana state government increased its testing capacity and the officials collected 11,062 samples , the highest in a single-day on Saturday and in which, 1178 tested positive in the state.
Out of the 11,062 tests conducted in the state, 9,884 people tested negative, according to a medical bulletin here tonight.
1,714 people were discharged from the hospitals, taking the tally of cured patients to 20,919 while nine people succumbed to COVID-19 on Saturday and with this, the death toll in the state stands at 348.
