TTD EO asks Deputation staff to keep watch on surrounding activities while on duty

Tirumala, Oct 3 (UNI) Besides discharging the designated duties, the Deputation staff should keep a watch and vigil on their surroundings and provide feedback which plays an important role in resolving an issue and offering better services to the pilgrims, said Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) Executive officer J Syamala Rao.
Addressing the employees who are deputed for Brahmotsavam duties at Asthana Mandapam here on Thursday evening, Rao along with the Additional Executive Officer Ch Venkaiah Chowdhary, called on the employees to work as a team in coordination with the police and district management deputation staff towards making the mega religious fete a grand success.
Later, Chowdhary and CVSO Sridhar also assured that co-ordination issues which used to be there during the earlier brahmotsavams, especially on the day of Garuda Seva will not occur this time as they have also briefed the deputation officers from the Police department on various issues.

Tirupati, Jan 8 (UNI) The issuance of tokens for devotional ‘Vaikunta Dwara Darshanam’ turned tragic as four people including three women were killed in a stampede here in Andhra Pradesh on Wednesday.
The stampede took place when the gate was opened for thousands of people, who were waiting to get a ‘Vaikunta Dwara Darshan’ ticket in the hill shrine Tirumala on the auspicious Ekadasi day on Friday.
