VB nabs medical officer, sweeper for taking Rs 5000 bribe

Chandigarh, Feb 26 (UNI) The Punjab Vigilance Bureau (VB) has apprehended Dr Narinder
Pal Singh, Medical Officer and Ram Singh alias Tenu, a sweeper, both posted at Civil Hospital Bathinda while accepting a bribe of Rs 5,000, an official said on Monday.
An official spokesperson of the state VB said here that the accused have been arrested on a complaint lodged by Nirmal Singh, a resident of village Gurusar Sehney Wala, Bathinda district.
