Ahmedabad, Nov 9 (UNI) Leading Chinese smartphone maker Vivo on Monday launched its much awaited latest smartphone -- V20 SE -- in the V20-series category, raising the bars high with its supreme design and camera.
Priced at Rs 20,990 for 8+128 GB storage (expandable up to 1TB), the vivo V20 SE features Front Super Night Selfie Camera and a 48MP AI Triple Rear Camera. It has a 4100mAh battery.
Talking to newsmen on the occasion, Director-Brand Strategy Nipun Marya, said that Vivo will manufacture all V20 SE devices at the Greater Noida facility that employs nearly 10,000 men and women ensuring all vivo devices sold in India are made by fellow Indians.
He said Gujarat contributes to over 8 percent (by volume) to the overall smartphone market in India. Selling approximately 7.5 lakh smartphones per month, it contributes to more than 8 percent to overall Vivo revenue.
The company currently enjoys a 28 per cent market share by volume in the Indian smartphone market, making it the largest brand in the country (by volume) in mainline retail.
Mr Marya also said that Vivo has a robust network of more than 6000 retailers, over 100 exclusive stores and over 50 service centers in Gujarat.
