Chikkaballapur, April 20 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a spirited election rally in Chikkaballapur on Saturday, highlighting the nation's enthusiasm following the favourable voting in the first phase of elections, largely in favour of the NDA.
Addressing the enthusiastic crowd, Modi remarked, "The nation's enthusiasm has been uplifted by the voting in the first phase, and I can see this enthusiasm here as well. In the first phase, the voting has been in favour of the NDA, in favour of a developed India."
Seizing the opportunity to criticise the opposition coalition, the Prime Minister pointed out their lack of leadership, vision for the future, and a history marred by scams. He asserted, "The INDI Alliance currently lacks leadership, and vision for the future, and their history is filled with scams. The message from Chikkaballapur and Kolar is clear, Phir Ek Baar, Modi Sarkar!"
Presenting his government's report card, he sought blessings from the people and reiterated his commitment to their welfare. He highlighted the government's initiatives for the welfare of the poor, including the provision of free rations and healthcare, showcasing his dedication to uplifting the marginalized sections of society.
Furthermore, Modi emphasized the empowerment of SC/ST/OBC communities, mentioning the government's efforts in providing education and financial assistance, which has led to the upliftment of millions from poverty in the last decade.
Turning his attention to women's empowerment, the Prime Minister discussed the expansion of self-help groups and financial assistance for women, aiming to make more women financially independent. He announced the NAMO Drone Didi Yojana, which aims to provide drone pilot training to girls, envisioning a future where they assist in farming using drones.
Concluding his speech, Modi underscored the government's efforts to promote agriculture, improve infrastructure, and develop tourism in the region, aiming for comprehensive development and growth.
