Kolhapur, Mar 15 (UNI) A young woman from Pune, Anvita Sabnis, has entered the India Book of Records by setting the record of riding “maximum distance covered on motorcycle in 24 hours by a female rider”.
She started her round trip at 0600 hours on 6 March from Kolhapur on her Honda CB 300F motorcycle and completed the 1,744 kilometres trip at 0600 hrs on 7 March at Satara, sources said on Wednesday.
Anvita, who graduated from Bharati Vidyapeeth at Pune, proceeded on her record-breaking journey from Kolhapur to Salem in Tamil Nadu via Hubballi, Bangaluru and back on the same route to finish at Satara.
