Lucknow, Sep 4 (UNI) Samajwadi Party (SP) President Akhilesh Yadav on Monday alleged that in the arrogance of power, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government in the state is snatching away the rights of the people.
In a statement here, Akhilesh said that in a democracy the right to vote is the biggest right of the people. "The BJP government wants to establish a dictatorial government by taking away the supreme rights of the people. This time the people of Ghosi will unite and respond by defeating the anti-democratic BJP with their right to vote," he said.
Yadav claimed that by using the police and administration as its workers BJP is creating havoc in the by-election for Ghosi assembly seat. "At the behest of the BJP government, the police and administration are arresting SP supporters and workers in a fake manner," he alleged.
