Envision to transform Meghalaya into a green investment destination: CM Sangma

Shillong, Dec 6 (UNI) Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma on Friday said that his government envisions to transform Meghalaya into a green investment destination by empowering local communities and fostering a sustainable economy leveraging the state’s new industrial policy.
Addressing the 2nd Climate Investments and Technology Impact Summit held at Meghalaya House, New Delhi, Sangma said, “By promoting sustainable industrial growth and providing incentives for green technologies, Meghalaya aims to transform our economic landscape while safeguarding our environment for future generations.”
The Summit prioritises innovative technological solutions and green investment approaches to address climate change and fosters technological advancements for sustainable outcomes.
