125 tests will be done free of cost in Govt institutions

Dharamshala, Feb 4 (UNI) In order to make health services more accessible to the public in Kangra district, emphasis is being laid on expansion of diagnostic services.
Under this, 40 test labs and 99 collection centers are to be established in various health institutions of the district through which the facility of about 125 tests will be available free of cost to the people near their doorstep.
Chief Medical Officer Kangra Dr. Gurdarshan Gupta told UNI on Saturday that the Health and Family Welfare Department is developing these facilities in the district through the National Health Mission up to the primary health centers. Now, along with big hospitals, people in villages and rural areas will also get the facility of different types of tests, so that they will not have to go far for general tests.
