New Delhi, Feb 6 (UNI) A parliamentary delegation led by Speaker of the National Assembly of Bhutan Wangchuk Namgyal, called on Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla at Parliament House Complex here on Monday.
During their meeting, Birla said that being the oldest and most vibrant democracy in the world, the Parliament of India reflects the hopes and aspirations of 140 crore citizens.
Referring to the Budget session, the Speaker said that the government's policies and programs and their financial allocations would be discussed during the session.
