BJP welcomes SC ruling on Rafale, says falsehood "exposed"

New Delhi, Dec 14 (UNI) BJP on Friday welcomed the Supreme Court order on the high profile Rafale deal and maintained that while the falsehood on the issue stands "exposed", those blindly joining anti-Prime Minister Narendra Modi too have been left at the receiving end.
"A lie exposed. Eminences wanting to blindly join anti-Modi chorus too stand exposed," BJP general secretary Ram Madhav tweeted.
Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh said the matters pertaining to Rafale aircraft deal was "crystal clear" from the beginning.
"We have said that the allegations leveled by Congress were baseless and was only aimed to gain political mileage," Mr Singh told reporters.
In Lok Sabha, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Narendra Singh Tomar echoed the government's sentiment and said, "Rahul Gandhi has misled the country on Rafale all along and thus he should tender an apology".
Lok Sabha had to be adjourned within minutes of its summoning on Friday morning after vocal BJP members including Nishikant Dubey and Prahlad Joshi demanded apology from Congress President on the Rafale deal row.
Mr Dubey and others said in view of the Supreme Court order dismissing all the petitions seeking a court-monitored investigation into the Rafale deal, the onus is now on the Congress leadership and its president Rahul Gandhi to tender an "apology".
