Delhi reports record 28,395 nCoV cases, 277 deaths

New Delhi, Apr 20 (UNI) The national capital on Tuesday reported 28,395 fresh cases of COVID-19, the highest single-day spike since the pandemic hit, taking the total number of cases to 9,05,541, according to the health bulletin.
Besides, the city also saw 277 more deaths, the highest death toll in a day, pushing the toll to 12,638.
On a positive front, 19,430 people recovered from the virus, taking the total number of such cases to 8,07,328.
