INS Imphal to participate in Mauritius National Day celebrations

New Delhi, Mar 10 (UNI) The Indian Naval Ship (INS) Imphal made her maiden port call at Port Louis, Mauritius on Monday to participate in the 57th Mauritius National Day celebrations on March 12.
INS Imphal 's visit is in keeping with the tradition of Indian warships and aircraft participating in Mauritius National Day celebrations, an Indian Navy statement said.
The ship will field a marching contingent, naval band and helicopter for the flypast at the National Day Parade at Champs de Mars. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, will be the chief guest at the celebrations.

Govt assures Gorkha representatives of resolving issues within constitutional framework
