You are the backbone and DNA of our party: Rahul Gandhi to Karyakartas

New Delhi, Apr 18 (UNI) Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Thursday called his party workers as the ‘backbone and DNA of the party’ and hailed them for fighting the ideologies of the BJP and RSS across the country.

Ahead of the first phase of Lok Sabha election on Friday, Rahul Gandhi through a video message to the Congress workers said, “You are the Congress worker, our backbone and the DNA of our party”.
“The BJP-RSS are against the idea of India. They are attacking our nation, they are attacking our Constitution, the country's democratic structure, and every single institutions, including the ECI, as well as the legal framework of India. You fight against the ideology of the RSS on the streets, in the villages, and everywhere, the Lok Sabha MP from Wayanad said.

Calling the workers as ‘defenders’, the former Congress president said, “You helped us bring key ideas from the people of India into our Manifesto for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections”.

Gandhi said, “We rely on you, and we love you! I send you my best wishes. We're going to defeat the BJP & their ideology!"
