Led by Asian Games champion Jyothi Surekha Vennam rpt yothi Surekha Vennam, the Indian contingent delivered a stellar performance, with Vennam clinching the individual gold medal in women's compound archery.
In a nail-biting final, Vennam emerged victorious after a tense shoot-off, defeating Andrea Becerra of Mexico, the 2023 World Championship silver medalist. The match concluded with a tied score of 146 at the end of five sets, showcasing Vennam's exceptional skill under pressure.
