The announcement was made by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, according to a statement issued by the Chief Minister’s Office.
The revised DA will be effective retrospectively from January 1, 2026.

see more.. 16 May 2026 | 12:46 AMBhubaneswar, May 15 (UNI) Odisha will launch a door-to-door voter verification drive from May 30 as part of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls scheduled by the Election Commission of India, state Chief Electoral Officer R S Gopalan said on Friday.
Addressing a press conference here, Gopalan said Booth Level Officers (BLOs) would visit households across the state between May 30 and June 28 for distribution and collection of enumeration forms.
The revision exercise will be conducted with July 1, 2026 as the qualifying date.
