Lions Club Roars 'No to Plastic' in Shimla

Shimla, Apr 14 (UNI) Upholding its motto “We Serve,” Lions Club Shimla has taken a firm stand against plastic pollution with a new initiative aimed at promoting environmental responsibility and civic cleanliness.
In a significant step towards reducing plastic waste, the club launched a campaign encouraging the use of eco-friendly alternatives.
As part of the initiative, Lions Club distributed 150 reusable jute bags to local residents and tourists at the Bus Stand near IGMC. These bags serve as a sustainable alternative to plastic and are meant to encourage people to avoid littering.
