Mizoram: over three thousand proxy employees working under Mizoram government

Aizawl, Apr 23(UNI) As many as 3,365 proxy employees are working in place of regular Mizoram state government employees,state Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms (DP and AR) has recently said.
In a reply to queries through the Right to Information Act, 2005, the State Public Information Officer of DP and AR said it was discovered that 9 substitute employees continued working under the state government even after the deaths of the real employees.

Kolkata, May 6 (UNI) Ahead of the third phase of polling in West Bengal's four Lok Sabha seats, the Election Commission of India has directed the polling authorities to ensure a special arrangement for
comfort of voters so that the current heat wave cannot deter the electorate from casting votes, especially for elders, women, and PWD (Visual impairment; speech and hearing disability) at the polling stations.
