One pilgrim killed, 15 injured after bus overturns near Uttara on Bhubaneswar-Puri NH

Bhubaneswar, Apr 6 (UNI) One person died and 15 others were injured as a bus carrying pilgrims from Bangladesh overturned near Uttara on the Bhubaneswar-Puri National Highway in the early hours of Sunday.
Sources said two buses carrying 140 pilgrims, including 17 children, from Chittagong in Bangladesh, arrived in India on March 17. The accident took place around 2.20 AM when they were on their way to Puri for darshan of Lord Jagannath after visiting Ayodhya, Prayagraj, Dwarka, and Varanasi.
The bus skidded off the road and fell into a ditch after the driver reportedly dozed off. The accident took place around 2.20 AM.
