62 boxes of country liquor seized in Kangra, 1 arrested

Kangra, Apr 26 (UNI) In a joint operation, the Kangra police and Himachal Pradesh Excise department seized 62 boxes of country liquor at Gurkhari, in the outskirts of Kangra town on Friday.
Kangra Sub Divisional Police officer (SDPO) Ankit Sharma told UNI that on a tip off, police seized 62 boxes of illegal country liquor from a house of one Vishal (34) in Gurkhari.
They have registered à case under Excise Act at Kangra police station against him and arrested him.

Chandigarh, May 8 (UNI) Haryana Chief Electoral Officer, Anurag Agarwal on Wednesday said that as per the guidelines of the Election Commission of India, any kind of political advertisements cannot be published in the print media without the permission of the State and District, Media Certification and Monitoring Committee (MCMC) on the day of polling or a day prior.
