IT issues notice to Empuraan's co-producer Antony Perumbavoor

Kochi, Apr 6 (UNI) The Income Tax (IT) Department has issued a fresh notice to Antony Perumbavoor, a co-producer of the film Empuraan and a close confidant of superstar Mohanlal, seeking clarifications on financial transactions linked to his recently released films.
The clarifications sought on 'Lucifer' and 'Marakkar: Lion of The Arabian Sea' starred Mohanlal in both the films.
Earlier, the IT Department sent a notice to actor Prithviraj Sukumaran, director of the controversial film Empuraan, seeking clarifications on his income declarations regarding the films 'Kaduva,' 'Gold and Jana Gana Mana' (all released in 2022).
