MIT varsity founder-president to embark on 3-nation tour from April 18

Pune, Apr 14 (UNI) Founder-president of MIT World Peace University and head of UNESCO, Prof Dr Vishwanath Karad will leave for United Kingdom, United States of America and France, along with a nine-member team, from April 18 to 30.
Briefing about tour in a press conference here on Sunday, he said that on April 25, he will be conferred with the honorary degree of DLitt for his long-dedicated service to education and humanity.
Before that, on April 19, Dr Karad will address a roundtable on 'Value-Based Education' at Oxford, he said and informed that in this conference, a special proposal of the Indo-British Global Education Managing Council based on the principles of value-based global education will be presented.
