U.S. says Yemeni Houthis' missiles hit British ship

Washington/Sanaa, April 27 (UNI) Yemen's Houthi group launched three anti-ship ballistic missiles into the Red Sea from Yemen, hitting a British oil tanker, the U.S. military confirmed on Friday.
The British-owned MV Andromeda Star ship suffered minor damage, the U.S. Central Command said on the social media X.
A missile also fell in the vicinity of another ship, the MV Maisha, without any damage, said the military.

Pakistan slams U S panel report on religious freedom

Islamabad, May 9 (UNI) Pakistan on Thursday slammed the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF) report, saying that it is based on "faulty assumptions."
The commission's 2024 Annual Report released earlier this month was "based on unsubstantiated allegations and non-reflective of the ground realities in Pakistan," spokesperson of Pakistan's Foreign Ministry Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said here during a weekly media briefing.
