Four children buried alive at Chopra in North Dinajpur

Chopra, Feb 12 (UNI) Four children were buried alive on Monday after a pile of soil caved in during excavation for widening a drain at a site near-Indo-Bangladesh border in West Bengal's North Dinajpur district, official sources said.
The mishap happened at Chetnagaj here where a narrow drain within a BSF camp area was being widened, police said.
Local people and the BSF jawans extricated the children from the debris and took the wounded to a nearby health facility at Dolua where the doctors pronounced them dead.
