Pune, Feb 28 (UNI) Night temperatures were markedly above normal (5.1 or more) at isolated places over Bihar; appreciably above normal (3.1°C to 5.0°C) at many places over Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada; above normal (1.6°C to 3.0°C) at many places over coastal Karnataka, Gujarat Region, north interior Karnataka; at a few places over Vidarbha, Telangana, Chhattisgarh, Kerala and Mahe; at isolated places over Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Saurashtra, Kutch, Jharkhand, Odisha, West Bengal, Sikkim, Rayalaseema, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal. They are below normal (-1.6°C to-3.0°C) at isolated places over Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh and near normal over rest parts of the country. Today, the lowest minimum temperature of 7.3°C is reported at Kernal (Haryana) over the plains of the country.
